Dr. Kauffman is a psychologist, author and speaker whose mission is to help her audiences achieve their dreams by making precise and simple changes. Her lectures, workshops and coaching sessions help business professionals, athletes and artists find and use the smart interventions that have the power to tilt the balance of their lives their Pivot Points. Her work has both breadth and depth. She has conducted over 30,000 interviews, and has taught at Harvard Medical School Department of Psychiatry for nearly 20 years. She has been featured or quoted in: The NY Times, Boston Globe, Boston Business Journal, Psychology Today, Readers Guide and Forbes Magazine. Dr. Kauffman is also involved in the new field of Financial Psychology. She writes the Behavioral Finance column for Financial Planning Magazine. Here she applies her concepts to issues faced by successful Financial Advisors in their day-to-day work. A successful life includes creating a healthy psychological legacy for one's children. Dr. Kauffman is a Principal at Family Legacy Services along with Marcia Brier of MCB Communications. She speaks regularly on the soft side of inheritance issues: writing ethical wills/memoirs and raising children of affluence.
